NBA 2K HQ: 2K's Official Companion App (Not 2khq.com)
2K's official NBA 2K HQ app launches August 21, 2026 on iOS and Android with the full MyPLAYER Builder, crew tools, daily rewards, and QR build sharing. This is 2K's app — not this website.
Important distinction: The app discussed here is NBA 2K HQ — the official companion app published by 2K. It is completely separate from 2khq.com, this independent fan news website you’re reading right now.
Launch date and availability
NBA 2K HQ launches August 21, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store — five days before Early Access and nine days before the September 4 global launch.
Full MyPLAYER Builder on mobile
The headline feature is complete MyPLAYER Builder access from your phone. Create builds anywhere, upload them directly to your home console, and have them ready the moment you load the game. Share builds with friends via QR codes or links.
The app also includes improved Face Scan with faster processing and higher-fidelity textures.
Crew and social tools
Stay connected to your squad 24/7:
- Real-time messaging and friend list management
- Full Crew management — invites, roster controls, and crew progression tracking
- Daily Leaderboards and Crew Rewards tracking on the go
Daily rewards
Mobile-exclusive daily login rewards give you a reason to check in between sessions. Every reward carries back to your console account.
